a big-hearted golfer who has raised more than £100,000 for the ayrshire Hospice is hitting the fairways again for their cause.

Rikki Black and son Euan will play from dawn to dusk as part of a sporting marathon.

the duo have set their sights on playing more than 180 holes in one day.

Rikki, 49, said: “Everyone knows someone who has unfortunat­ely been in the care of the hospice.

“there has been some tremendous backing over the years and special mention to long time supporters skyline Direct, who are donating £5 for every hole completed.”

Rikki and Euan are pictured in the ayr branch of slater Menswear being kitted out for their event.

the duo, from Kilwinning, will tackle Irvine’s Bogside course with a tee-off time of 3.45am on Friday, June 29.
