Members are thanked for support for swim complex
Rotarians have been thanked for their kind donations and ongoing support for a popular swimming complex.
Peter Linton, manager of Girvan’s Quayzone, popped along to visit Rotary members to update them on the site following its first birthday.
Peter started by thanking the Girvan Rotarians for their £2200 financial contribution to the pool project, which enabled the Quayzone to purchase the Visitor Information Screen in its foyer and the Lifeguard High Chair which sits at the poolside.
He then discussed the first years progress which showed the complex had performed better than anticipated and now has a membership of over 600. Girvan Rotary would like to thank Mr Linton for taking the time to come to the Royal Hotel and talk to the group.
