Meet the controller

It has become a tourist attraction in its own right. And yet again this year, Gordon Ross had visitors flocking to his back garden for a slice of miniature railway action.

His stunning creation in Crosshill, the Knockbrake Railroad, captivates young and old on an annual basis.

And the lovingly recreated models of train tracks from around the world are all perfectly scaled to fit inside his garden. Funds raised from his special day went to the charity, Voices ForVeteran­s.
