Garden party

Ladies of Tarbolton Parish will be serving teas at Barnweil Garden Open Day thanks to Mr and Mrs Ronald Alexander. The colourful garden of the early 19th century house boasts herbaceous borders, shrub roses and a woodland garden. The beautiful views on a clear day to Craigie Castle and Ben Lomond are a feast for the senses. There will be a delicious afternoon tea. The open day will take place on Sunday, June 17 from 2pm to 5pm. Tickets cost £5. Children go free. Forty percent of all money raised will go to Tarbolton Parish Church with the remaining 60 per cent destined for Scotland’s National Garden Scheme.
