Hoteliers mark growth plans with new arrivals

Hoteliers, Costley & Costley, have created two new roles as the company embarks on growth plans.

Lorna Gibson joins the Board as Strategic Developmen­t Director and Fiona Lawrie has been appointed Digital Marketing Assistant.

Lorna has held a number of senior leadership roles and was latterly a Director of QTS Training, part of the QTS Group.

Prior to that she was a Director with digital creative agency, Paligap, based in Ayr.

Currently Vice President of Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce, Lorna will become President in September this year.

In her new role Lorna will be responsibl­e for business improvemen­t and spearheadi­ng the Group’s growth strategy.

Starting out in her career, Fiona joins as a Graduate from Robert Gordon University with a BA ( Hons) in Public Relations and will be supporting the social media, digital activity and general marketing for the nine venues within the Group.

Chairman, Bill Costley, said: “We’re excited by our plans to develop the business and Lorna’s appointmen­t is key to that growth.

“She has excellent business credential­s and through her work with the Chamber is well known within the business network.

“Creating a new digital post is part of that growth and Fiona’s impressive work ethic and enthusiasm is just what we need when dealing with a large number of staff as well as our customers.”
