Students try some new skills
Budding artists tried their hand at print- making, photography and expressive drawing during a recent workshop. A group of the new Advanced Higher Art and Design class from Auchinleck Academy paid a visit to Ayrshire College last month where they took part in the workshops ran by college staff and staff from Glasgow School of Art. The students also got the chance to try architecture, as well as get invaluable advice on how to apply for art school and college. The creative youngsters had a fantastic time and feel they gained new skills to take forward into their senior folios.
