The Boyds’ fringe preview in Cumnock

If you love good music then you won’t want to miss out as Edinburgh Fringe Award winning duo The Boyds bring their Acoustic Mac and Beatles show to Cumnock Town Hall on Friday, August 17.

With their signature sound of tight two- part harmonies, coupled with percussive guitar, The Boyds are a joy to listen to.

In this Edinburgh Fringe Preview show, they’ll be performing the best of the Fab Four, with classic hits such as Strawberry Fields, Let it Be, All You Need is Love, Yesterday and many more, as well as celebratin­g the genius of Lennon and McCartney with album tracks such as Blackbird, Eight Days a Week, Drive my Car and She’s Leaving Home.

They’ll also be performing Europe’s only acoustic show of Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours album in its entirety.

With a voice akin to both Stevie Nicks and Christine McVie, Liz Boyd’s vocal range and sensitivit­y creates a rich, unique soundscape when coupled with husband Gus’s high range voice, percussive guitar style and chord voicings.

Enjoy re- worked, stripped back versions of favourite songs including Don’t Stop, The Chain, Go Your Own Way, Songbird, Dreams, Second Hand News and many more.
