Expanding pharmacy has personal service at its heart

Expert staff offer tailored services

-

Cathy Burns is proud to have been the local community pharmacist at the Toll since 2001.

Over the last 17 years she and her dedicated staff have strived to provide excellent pharmaceutical services to patients in Prestwick, Monkton and Ayr.

The pharmacists: Cathy, Stuart, Julie, Elaine and Rebecca are always available to discuss health and medication needs – whatever they may be.

At the Toll we believe our customers deserve pharmaceutical care tailored specifically to their needs.

We have three consultation rooms which allow us to offer readily available private healthcare advice.

The Toll Pharmacy is the only independently owned pharmacy in Prestwick providing customers with a personal service through continuity and a dedication to meeting the healthcare needs of the community.

We are pleased to announce the extension of our family

- run business following the acquisition of Mossblown Chemist from Mr and Mrs Trimble.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Trimbles for their hard work and dedication serving the community within Mossblown for the last 20 years.

We would like to reassure the community of Mossblown that the same care, commitment and legacy Mr Trimble provided within Mossblown will be continued under the care of Cathy’s son, Stuart.

At the Toll we constantly strive to provide new and innovative ways of working to improve current services and keep up with the needs of the community.

Last year the Toll took a leap into the 21st century and invested in our Synmed Robot ( who has yet to be named – message us on facebook if you have any ideas).

The robot was not put in place to replace our amazing staff, in fact our team has since grown, but to enable them to continue to meet the growing medication needs of our local population.

We have recently launched a new website in an attempt to make the Toll and our range of services more accessible.

You will find us at tollpharmacy. com – be sure to check us out.

Our website highlights the array of services available within the pharmacy including but not limited to a minor ailments clinic, sexual health clinic, respiratory clinic, smoking cessation clinic

Our pharmacists and amazing team are always on hand to answer your queries and calls - Monday to Saturday

and for the jet- setters amongst you, a travel clinic.

The website is constantly evolving, much like our pharmacy, and you can now use it to order prescriptions from our local surgeries, arrange delivery and collections and purchase certain medications from our new online GP and prescribing pharmacists.

If you purchase from our online service a questionnaire will need to be filled out and evaluated by our trained clinicians to ensure the medication is appropriate for you and your needs. It can then either be collected in person or if safe to do so, discreetly delivered by our partner Royal Mail.

In the near future, we are hoping to launch our very own Toll Pharmacy app – Toll Pharmacy in your pocket!

Whilst these advances in technology are exciting we want you to remember our pharmacists and amazing team are always on hand to answer your queries and calls – Monday – Saturday 8.45am to 5.45pm. Should you need to contact us directly please phone us on our freephone number or pop in and see us.
