Title defence in takes a hit as Ayrshire lose to Dunbartonshire
Ayrshire’s hopes of retaining the West of Scotland Inter County League title suffered on Sunday when they lost narrowly to Dunbartonshire at Clober.
The third match in the series was level going into the last tie but the hosts won on the final green to clinch a 4.5- 3.5 victory.

Ayrshire now play Glasgow at The King Robert The Bruce course at Turnberry on Sunday.
In the corresponding youths’ match at Troon Lochgreen, Ayrshire gained their first point of the campaign in a 4- 4 draw.
