Security firm honoured for top customer service
Focus on customer satisfaction received its reward as an Ayrshire- based firm took a top national award.
Ardrossan- based Invincible
Fire and Security won the Best Delivery of Customer Service award at a ceremony hosted by SELECT, Scotland’s largest trade association.
Scotland’s campaigning body for the electrotechnical industry chose Invincible as winner in a hotlycontested category.
The company, which was established 20 years ago, boasts a client list which includes local authorities, housing associations, nursing homes, the NHS and thousands of small businesses and residential customers.
Darrell Matthews, SELECT Managing Director, said: “The electrical sector is increasingly complex, and its practitioners are highly- skilled technicians who work at the cutting edge of technology.
“But to succeed, companies must always remember that the interests of the customer are paramount and this innovative company has demonstrated a firm commitment to its clients’ needs.
“This SELECT member has learned lessons from past issues in customer care and has worked very hard to turn these round so that all existing and new customers now enjoy a first- class service.”
The award was presented by Neil Kelly, of award sponsor MacRoberts Solicitors, at a gathering at the Radisson Blu in the centre of Glasgow.
ATD Electrical Contractors, of Newton Stewart, Ideal Electrical Solutions ( UK), of Edinburgh, and L& M Electrical Contractors, of Pitlochry, were also nominated for the Best Delivery of Customer Service award.
Alan Wilson, Head of Membership and Communications at SELECT, said: “This award goes to an innovative member company which really has thought about its customers in its approach to doing business.
“It is by delivering exceptional customer service that our member companies can ensure they stand out from the crowd and, importantly, secure that vital repeat business.” SELECT’s 1250 member companies account for around 90 per cent of all electrical installation work carried out in Scotland.
They have a collective turnover of around £ 1 billion.
