Invitation to band’s concerts

This year Dalmellington Band’s Christmas Concerts will, as usual, be held in the Hugh Johnstone Memorial Hall ( formerly Dalmellington Community Centre) on Sunday, December 16.

Christmas Matinee Concert: This will feature the usual Christmas fun - Santa, bumper raffle, and of course, tea/ coffee and delicious home baking will be served. The fabulous Dalmellington Brass Academy children, who are making great progress, thanks to the free tuition which is given to them by our band members, will also be performing at this concert at 2.30pm.

6.30pm. Christmas Concert. This will be “An Evening With Dalmellington Band” and guests will be treated to a fun evening of wonderful brass band music, also highlighting some of the talented soloists. There will be the usual bumper raffle and a glass of wine or a soft drink and a mince pie will be served.

Those attending will be assured of a warm welcome and a friendly community atmosphere at either concert, and as they are usually very popular, it’s essential to book early.

Tickets for either concert cost £ 7/£ 5 concession Children under 12 free but must be accompanied by an adult.

Patrons may use their complimentary ticket.

All tickets, including patrons, must be pre- booked!
