Coylton Show

- STEPHEN HOUSTON

It’s all over for another season after last Saturday’s annual show from Coylton & Stair Farmers Society.

The show beat the weather and was judged “fantastic” by well- wishers.

Preparation had put the field at Drumdow Holm in top order, and a big marquee had plenty of space for undercover activities.

Only a couple of horse classes did not go ahead.

Secretary Diane Allan said: “We would like to thank everyone who came along to the show - exhibitors, judges and spectators.

“Also a thank you to all our sponsors as without them the show could not go on. “And lastly a thank you to the Gemmell Family for allowing us to hold the show in their field.”

Our photographer Brian Muir captured some of the topaction.
