Maybole music

St Oswald’s and Maybole Over 50s Ukulele Group present‘ Music for Everyone’.

The event is on Saturday December 14 at 2pm.

Entry is free, refreshmen­ts will be available and there will be a range of music from MOFs Ukulele Group and jazz singer, Kate Gieben.

There will also be collection­s for Multiple Sclerosis Society Scotland and St Oswald’s Tuk Tuk Appeal.

Colmon join us

There will be a fun event at St Colmon Church, Colmonell next week.

On Thursday, December 19 at 7pm local entertaine­rs and musicians, the village primary school, Brownies and The Valley Choir will head to the church.

That will be followed by coffee and mincepies in the Kirk Hall. The event is free but donations welcomed.

Carol service

The Ayr free church will be holding its annual carol service next week.

This year it is held on Friday, December 20 at 7pm in the Church with traditiona­l carols and camel puppets.

Head along to 22 George Street, Ayr, opposite TK MAXX. Worship service

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- day Saints will hold its worship service on Sunday.

It will start at 10am at their base in Mossgiel Road, Ayr and will be conducted by Bishop Andrew Colborne.

All Sunday school classes, plus Primary for the children, will be held from 11.10am.

Everyone is welcome to join the worship.

Activities for both Young Men and Young Women organisati­ons will be held this Tuesday evening at 7.30pm in the Church in Mossgiel Road.
