Tribute time - Bruce, Jake and Elwood too

-

Bruce Springsteen is a great American character, as are brothers Jake and Elwood.

While the brothers are celluloid heroes, Boss Springsteen has rocked the world since 1964.

Two shows are set for the Ayr Gaiety between now and the end of next month with a distinct US flavour.

Bring the whole family for ‘ A Night At The Movies’ as ‘ The Chicago Blues Brothers’ bring the music of the movies to Ayr.

Direct from London’s West End, join the Chicago Blues Brothers and their 11- piece band, for a new two- hour all singing, all dancing hit parade bringing you the greatest movie anthems of all time, performed live in concert.

Featuring songs from Footloose, A Star is Born, Dirty Dancing, The Greatest Showman, the Full Monty and many more, not forgetting all the much loved Blues Brothers classics, with a ton of surprises and lots of lunacy.

The show stays true to the legacy and style of Jake and Elwood, performed in the crazy, upbeat and hard hitting style that has made

The Chicago Blues Brothers one of the most successful theatre shows touring the globe.

Dig out those trilbys, shades and polish your dancing shoes to join in the party.

The promoters claim: “You’ll dance, you’ll sing, you’ll have the time of your life.”

‘ The Chicago Blues Brothers – A Night At The Movies’ will be at The Gaiety on Friday March 27 at 7: 30pm. Tickets are £ 15 - £ 26.

The “Sound of Springsteen”, is up first at The Gaiety after two years of getting the show together for this tour.

With a passion for the work of “The Boss” the eight- piece tribute brings his 39 hits and deep cuts.

Expect his top tunes - “Born In The USA”, “Glory Days”, “Streets of Philadelphia” and many more.

Sound of Springsteen will be at The Gaiety next Thursday, February 13 at 7.30pm.

Tickets are priced at £ 20.50£ 24.50.
