Exposed: Former bus driver was sex beast

And he said: “Police Scotland is committed to working alongside other police forces and partner agencies in bringing domestic offenders to justice and supporting victims of domestic abuse.

“It sends out a clear message that domestic abuse will not be tolerated and offenders will be prosecuted to the fullest extent.

“Victims of domestic abuse should have confidence that the police will make to investigat­e their reports robustly and sensitivel­y when they feel ready to come forward and will work to bring offenders to justice.”

In October 2014, Reed was in the running for an award after learning Polish phrases to help confused bus passengers on his X77 route between Ayr and Glasgow.

At his sentencing Lord Beckett said Reed showed “no empathy, insight or remorse”.

In his sentencing statement Lord Beckett told Reed: “It is necessary to punish you and to seek to deter you and others from behaving in this way.”

Reed was also placed on the Sex Offenders’ Register for an indefinite period.

Lord Beckett added: “You have been convicted of very serious crimes.

“In addition to seriously sexually assaulting three former partners, repeatedly in the case of two of them, you have been convicted of inflicting significan­t violence on them.

“The assaults included your seizing the complainer­s by the neck and restrictin­g their breathing which was very frightenin­g for both of them.

“You also assaulted two children.”
