With this weather, it’s probably just as well there has been plenty of innovation in new indoor activities.

Inspired by television shows, a great competitive day of fun is heading to Ayr a week on Saturday, March 14.

You can let the kids go wild on their own, join in with them, or enjoy an adults only battle duel.

Wacky World has been touring big venues for the past two years.

It arrives at The Citadel in Ayr, and there are still some tickets left at a reduced price of £ 10.95 each.

Expect full- on fun and happy kids with the Total Wipeout Course, Extreme Hungry

Hippos, Assault Courses, Gladiator Duels and slides.

The promoter revealed: “Wacky World was born in March 2017 and is means families can get together and try something completely unique, fun and exciting.

“We have visited over 30 cities across Europe and more than 100,000 families have taken us on.

“We have been featured on ITV, BBC and have been called the best family fun ever.” Tasks includeTotal Meltdown, Rock N Roller, Basejump, Ultimate Wipeout, Penalty Shoot Out, Basketball Shoot- Out, Bouncy Castle and the Unclimbable Ladder.

A separate Mini Wacky World will be set- up for younger children.

Session X is their family session where adults can battle it out with the kids and see who wins or let them burn off energy with their friends.

An Adult Only Session for those over eighteen may even be more competitive as wives take on husbands and work colleagues try to get the better of each other.

Wacky World Mini’s features soft play and sensory equipment, mini inflatables and a toddler ball pit.

Tickets can be bought on the day for just £ 2.95.

The toddler area is reserved for the younger siblings of those attending the main event.

Spectators can get in for £ 1 a head and catering will be available.
