It is nice to see that some golf is at last being played.

In the Turnberry Gents Saturday medal, on the Ailsa Course on 29th February, Stephen Simpson ( 17), 77 came in to win followed by D Courtney ( 9), 79 and J Horne ( 7), 83.

The Turnberry Ladies have also been out on the course, also on 29th February. They competed in the Piersland Trophy with Lesley Brown’s 25 Stableford points against Sylvia Kemp’s 21 points .

On 3rd March in the March Medal Division One, Lynda Gordon ( 18), 77 came in to win over Claire Stevenson ( 20), 80 and Anne Grant ( 19), 85.

In Division Two, Jean McMillan came in with a nett 95.
