Members’ Marketplace keeps lockdown traders talking shop
The Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce is often mistaken as being a Government entity.
In reality, the Chamber is a small business too, like so many others across Ayrshire and as such, they understand the pressures currently being faced by so many businesses.
In these unprecedented times, it is the support of members and the wider network that is providing a vital service to the Ayrshire business community.
The new online Members Marketplace, launched at the beginning of March, has become the ideal forum to share what businesses can offer during the current lockdown with these details directly emailed to all Chamber Members.
A new Business Support service is now being launched which will utilise the expertise of Mentors and the Board of Directors covering a range of business topics.
Lisa Stewart is taking the lead on this new initiative and can be reached via email.
She said: “During this unprecedented time, we at Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce are reaching out to our members to offer business mentoring support.
“We are aware that some local businesses are facing challenging times and through our experienced Mentors and Board of Directors we are here to help and want to offer you support through a range of various business topics.
“Mentoring support in the past has offered huge value and during this time I’m sure this support will be welcomed.

“Also, to help raise awareness of your business products and services we have the Marketplace, an online platform to help drive business to you.
“Our Members Marketplace has become an ideal forum to share what businesses can offer or adapt to during the current lockdown.
“Why not shout about what you are currently doing and get your service directly emailed to all Chamber Members.”
There will come a time when the business community will look back and reflect on the challenges Ayrshire has faced and overcome.
Until then, Ayrshire Chamber will continue to help support Ayrshire as much as possible.
