Adam Edinboroug­h & Rhys Watkins founded Cardiff-based Crafty Devil Brewing in 2014, and it grew so much they opened bars in Penarth and Canton.

But as the UK locked down, the business pivoted to offering a takeaway service.

“We were lucky enough that we do small packs of cans and bottles – we’d been out of that market for a while, but got back into it at just the right time. If we hadn’t had that, we wouldn’t have got through it,” says Rhys. “We launched our online shop, which had laid dormant until then, and also started six-daya-week deliveries.”
