The Little Art School Trust is to receive £ 10,000 of funding, raised by National Lottery players, to deliver online arts classes in 30 care homes across Ayrshire.
Welcoming the funding, Suzie Woodliff, Service Delivery Manager, The Little Art School Trust, said; “Receiving this funding will help us to continue to support those affected by dementia as well as supporting care homes to facilitate activity programmes.
“We will continue to produce our newsletters and tutorials for both care homes and those in the community, as well as adding the facility to set up live sessions through an online platform.
“It is especially important in these unprecedented times to continue to improve well- being and social inclusion through meaningful activities. Our students are enabled to continue to create and express themselves through art, this can help these needs to be met and produce further psychosocial benefits.”
