I will offer a positive future for all
Like many of you, I love living in beautiful South Ayrshire with its many strategic resources.
As your MSP, I’ll bring fresh approaches and renewed vigour, promoting Ayr, Prestwick and Troon’s best interests at Holyrood, supporting our communities, building on our natural assets and reinvigorating our town centres.
My immediate priority is delivering a strong, fair and green recovery from Covid-19.
As a mum, I’m acutely aware of the toll the pandemic has taken on families and I’m committed to restoring our physical and mental health.
The SNP’s allocation of £275m for regeneration and revitalisation and commitment to 100 per cent rates relief across a wide range of sectors creates opportunity for innovation.
As MSP I’ll energetically ensure we use these funds advantageously, rebuilding our local economy, maximising job opportunities from the Ayrshire Growth Deal and creating thriving, attractive towns: desirable destinations for locals and visitors.
This election represents an important choice.
Should Scotland’s recovery be in the hands of its people or those of Boris Johnson’s Westminster Government?
When it’s safe, it’s important that the people of Scotland are allowed to make a choice between Westminster Tory austerity and a positive, forward looking future for us and our children.
As your MSP, I’ll work tirelessly, building on every opportunity to improve our constituency, economically and socially as a desirable place to live, work and visit.
I’ll actively seek out ways to promote our constituency, bringing my passion, energy and determination that Ayr, Troon and Prestwick are, to paraphrase Burns, ne’er surpassed.
● Next week, Scottish Labour candidate for Ayr, Esther Clark, tells us why you should vote for her.
