SNP - ELENA WHITHAM
These are serious times which require serious government and experienced leadership.
By re-electing the SNP you can ensure that Scotland gets that vital experience and the serious programme for government that people need and deserve.
That experience and seriousness of purpose have never been so important as we emerge from the pandemic.
By voting for me and the SNP the people of Carrick, Cumnock and Doon Valley will be securing an experienced Ayrshire representative who has participated in transformative policy creation locally and nationally and an experienced national government led by the indefatigable Nicola Sturgeon.
I also have experience of running my own businesses and supporting people in crisis though my work with Women’s Aid, homelessness services and as senior caseworker to an Ayrshire parliamentarian.
I understand what it is like to be at the coal face.
Our SNP manifesto is fit to bursting with transformative policies and if re-elected, we will set out immediately to support our NHS; boost jobs; tackle poverty; protect the environment and support our children and young people.
We are a government in waiting ready for action and the only party clearly demonstrating this throughout the campaign.
Of course with all the powers of an independent country we could do so much more.
That is why at the right time it is vital that should the people of Scotland return a proindependence majority, we must seek the nation’s views in a second independence referendum.
Scotland decides our future, not Boris Johnson and successive UK Tory governments we did not vote for.
