Vinnieis billboard superstar

An in-demand singer songwriter has launched his new single.

Vinnie McKee’s debut single ‘Make you Mine’ has already caught the attention of commuters at Glasgow Central train station.

A giant billboard inside the station is promoting the rising pop star and it’s hoped his new single can make a massive impact on the charts.

Back in September we told how Vinnie rubbed shoulders with British rap star Tinchy Stryder - after being handpicked to play a 20-minute set at the Northumberland Pride Festival.

Vinnie, 26, said he was in dreamland after his performance in front of nearly 10,000 fans at People’s Park, Ashington, where Stryder was the headline act.

Vinnie, (above), is the entertainment manager at Sundrum Castle Holiday Park, in Coylton.

And it was during a recent on-stage performance that prompted the once-in-alifetime offer from a talent scout to appear at Pride.

Vinnie performed ‘Never Enough’ from The Greatest Showman, ‘You’re a Superstar’ by Love Inc, ‘Dancing on my Own,’ the smash hit from Calum Scott, before finishing with his own song ‘Make you Mine.’

And now he’s a young man in demand.

Vinnie said: “My song is on all the billboards at Glasgow Central station.

“And I’m going to be headlining the Helensburgh winter festival.

“I’ve also been booked for five festivals next year.”

‘Make you Mine’ was one of the songs Vinnie performed at Pride and is available on Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes and YouTube.

Vinnie, who has worked at Sundrum since 2016 and performs at the resort twice a week during the season, cut his showbiz teeth when he trained at UK Theatre School from the age of six.

And from the age of 15 he attended the Academy of Performing Arts, so he’s no stranger to the entertainment business. To find out more go to Vinnie’s Facebook page @ VINNIEUK or his Instagram @VINNIEMCKEEMUSIC
