- ELINA KOBZAR

A husband and wife team say winning a top wedding award means the world to them.

Com Bossa won Wedding Stationery Supplier of the Year 2024 at the Scottish Wedding Awards, adding another accolade to the small Ayr business.

With over 2,500 couples served and more than a quarter of a million recipients of their invitations, Com Bossa has become synonymous with elegance and sophistication in the wedding stationery industry.

Their extensive collection features handdrawn venue illustrations, traditional hot foil printing, and bespoke designs tailored to clients’ unique preferences.

Suzanne and Richard Ulph, the creative minds behind Com Bossa, recently scooped the accolade as the Winners of Wedding Stationery Supplier of the Year 2024 at the prestigious Scottish Wedding Awards. This recognition highlights their unwavering commitment to excellence and innovation in the wedding stationery industry.

Founded in 2005, Com Bossa emerged from Suzanne and Richard’s quest to redefine luxury wedding stationery with passion, style, and sustainability. Inspired by the vibrant ethos of Rio de Janeiro, the duo adopted a unique approach to design, focusing on simplicity, refinement, and authenticity. Today, their creations resonate with couples worldwide who seek distinctive designs crafted with love and attention to detail.

Suzanne said: “We celebrate love and connection in every wondrous way.

“Our mission is to capture the essence of our clients’ love stories and share their joy through our meticulously crafted stationery.”

The recent award not only recognises Com Bossa’s outstanding craftsmanship but also underscores their dedication to ethical practices and environmental stewardship. Rejecting the notion that luxury should compromise sustainability, Com Bossa ensures that their wedding cards are sourced from sustainable materials and packaged without plastic, reflecting their commitment to preserving the planet.
