Joint contributi­on to the Gwyl Tysilio programme by the Council and the Band. It will also mark the completion of the “Prom” by the refugees from Belgium who arrived in the town in 1914 and built the promenade in gratitude for the town’s welcome and support. EGLWYS BACH COMMUNITY HALL: MEMORY CAFE: Come along today, Wednesday July 20 to the Memory Cafe support group for people living with Dementia. The regular meeting was followed by the AGM at which committee members were elected and annual reports delivered from the Chair and Treasurer. After formal business, the members retired to the restaurant to enjoy a buffet supplied by members plus birthday cake from Roz Smith. The afternoon ended with the presentati­on of flowers to John and Jos Brown in appreciati­on of their events organising. Next meeting will be September 14.
