Bro’s early domination failed to reap reward and it was the away side that took the lead after 27 minutes.

Shaun Morris pounced on a poor clearance to whip the ball across the face of goal to leave Greg Parry a simple far post finish.

Bethesda’s glovesman denied Callum Thomas when it looked all ends up to be a Bro goal, but could not do anything to prevent Andy Williams following up to edge the hosts 2-1 to the good.

Williams was involved in giving the home side a two-goal cushion moments later, leaving his man out wide for dead to cause a commotion with his delivery across goal, resulting in a combination of defenders and striker Connor Jones sending the ball spinning into the back of the net.

Bethesda were thrown a lifeline when Bro keeper Jonny Sweetser-Hawkes brought down Parry in the area.

Sweetser-Hawkes saved Mark Williams’ penalty but the referee ordered a retake, deciding the keeper was too quick off his goal-line.

Williams made no mistake second time around, bringing the score back to 4-2.
