Members of Holyhead and Llandudno groups have been invited to meeting at 2pm on Friday November 25 at Rhosygad chapel Vestry, when “Clychau’r Enfys” handbell ringers will be entertaini­ng. GWYNGYLL WI: The President began by thanking everyone who provided refreshmen­ts for the recent quiz. Arrangemen­ts were discussed for the Christmas meal in early December. Among forthcomin­g AFWI events will be a Carol concert in Treaddur Bay. After discussing items on the newsletter, the Programme Secretary then went through the draft programme for next year and asked members if they had any comments or suggestion­s. The meeting was then closed and the AGM began. Reports were given by the President and Officers, who were re-elected. The Committee were re-elected and will have one new member. The Treasurer gave her Annual Report and went through the Financial Statement for the year, which was duly adopted. A well-supported Sales Table followed in aid of funds. The next meeting will be at 7.30pm at the WI Hall on Thursday, December 1 and will be a social evening with a Christmas theme. Visitors will be given a warm welcome. WEEKLY DRAW: The winner of the football clubs weekly draw held on Saturday, November 12, was Gwenda Maple, 36 Trem Eryri, Llanfairpw­ll.
