An evening of “Carols and Christmas Songs” was held at the Ucheldre Centre on Thursday, December 1 in aid of the Alaw Day Unit/Ward, Ysbyty Gwynedd. The concert included contributi­ons by The Holyhead & Bangor Male Voice Choir, conductor Gwilym Lewis, Trio Canig, Hannah Dunne, Magee Family, Compere Mr Al Diamond. The Friends of Alaw Day Unit/ Ward thank all who helped and supported this worthy cause. Special thanks to all the artistes & audience. The amount raised was £1,754.72. All monies raised will be used by the staff of Alaw Day Unit/Ward to help & alleviate in treatment of Cancer, and is very gratefully received by the patients and staff.
