New members, gentlemen as well as ladies always welcome, £20 per annum, pro rata, including free refreshments every week and something different on the programme every week ISLE OF ANGLESEY FLOWER CLUB: Will welcome Swsan Peters, florist and plantswoman from Caernarfon, on Thursday April 27 at 7pm for 7.30pm in the Community & Ex Servicemen’s Club to celebrate Spring with Swsan’s interpretations of floral arrangements and plants for sale. Also a raffle for the floral arrangements, sales table, bring and buy, book stall and of course, refreshments are available. Don’t forget to bring along your friends and relatives for an enjoyable evening. Membership £30 pa or visitors £6 per event. BENLLECH LADIES GROUP: The monthly social afternoon is on Monday, May 1, from 2pm to 4pm, in the Ex-Servicemen’s Hall, Benllech. An enjoyable afternoon with games, crafts, Scrabble, Rummicub - not forgetting the tea and biscuits. The next monthly meeting is on Monday May 15 at 2pm when Pat Knox will be speaking about “The Children of Africa”. Details of special events and day trips are announced at the monthly meetings.
