City reserves wrap up title
BANGOR City wrapped up the Welsh Alliance League Reserves Division title with two games to spare after a 2-1 victory at Llanrwst United last Tuesday.
Newly formed for the 2016/17 season, City’s Reserves have taken the division by storm with 19 wins from a possible 20, netting more than 100 goals.
Adam Evans and Guto Williams struck at Llanrwst to seal a second title for the club in 10 days, Bangor’s under-19s having earlier clinched the Welsh Premier Development North title, with the national final against Cambrian & Clydach to come at Newtown on May 1.
