AMLWCH FOODBANK DISTRIBUTI­ON POINT: Open to those in real hardship, and for some who struggle to make ends meet. The Foodbank is currently open on Weds from 11am-3pm, in Pantri Number 6, at 6 Queen St. The basic system is a Referral System, but people can go along to get further informatio­n about eligibilit­y. AMLWCH CANOE CLUB: Meets in Amlwch pool 8.15pm-9.30pm. If you would like to try kayaking the club allows three Taster Sessions at £5 per person per session. Minimum age 8 and conditions apply to under-16s, parent/carers must stay in attendance for the sessions. Suggest participan­ts wear a T-shirt, the sessions will involve capsizing in a kayak. ANGLESEY CENTRAL LIONS: Is a local service organisati­on, and registered charity that raises money, holds events, and assists in events. During 2015 it donated £3,400 to local worthy causes. TREBORTH: As part of the North Wales Festival of Gardens, Treborth Botanic Garden will hold a spring plant sale and open day on Saturday May 27, from 10am-4pm. There will also be home-made cakes, preserves and unique gift cards to

buy. We will be giving guided walks of the glasshouse­s, garden, woodland and arboretum throughout the afternoon and serving delicious hot and cold refreshmen­ts all day. Do bring the children along as well - Wild Elements will be organising lawn games, garden bingo and natural crafts throughout the day. There is parking onsite, but we encourage car sharing and the use of public transport.

MAES G WALKING CLUB: There will be two different walking clubs; one will be for health and wellbeing, while the other will be for walkers pushing a pram. The Walking for Health group will start their walk from Ty Cegin at 11am, and will end up at MaesG Pop Up Café for a healthy lunch free of charge! The second group, Walkers pushing a pram, will start at 1pm, and will start and end their walk at Café MaesG for a cup of tea and a healthy snack, free of charge.
