EGLWYS BACH COMMUNITY HALL: FREE TRAINING: Newborough residents have raised funds to buy a defibrilla­tor to save lives. LLANDDWYN / NEWBOROUGH WI: met on June 7 at Eglwys Bach. Yvonne took the chair in the absence of Linda who was attending the NFWI AGM in Liverpool. She thanked Anita for running the quiz on Resolution­s Evening, also those who brought food, and Betty Linda and Chris for organising the theatre trip and meal in Llandudno. Lucy drew attention to a solstice gathering in Mona on June 20. Members were reminded of free Emergency First Aid demonstrat­ions on June 26 in the Prichard Jones Institute and Eglwys Bach. Pre-booking necessary. Ann Crompton then showed a collection of her prizewinni­ng miniatures and embroideri­es. On 5 July Anita and Lucy will hold a hands-on felt flower making activity
