BRIDE AND VROOM

A COUPLE were confident they would arrive at the church on time after making their entrance in two rally cars.

Conwy estate agent Nicola Nieroda and Bangor City FC footballer Sion Edwards tied the knot at St Mary’s Church, Conwy.

Nicola’s brother, Daniel, and father, Nick, arranged two rally spec Subaru Imprezas as their wedding cars. One was given to Daniel by former rally driver Geoff Jones, from Dolgellau, who prepares rally cars for many top teams.

Nick said: “My son suggested we should have something a bit different to get his sister to church. As Nicola has rallied with her brother, we came up with the two Imprezas.

“All of the guests and even the vicar were impressed.”

The couple were then driven from the church to the wedding reception at Hafod Farm, LLanrwst.
