Coleg’s star students get their just deserts
COLEG Glynllifon was full to capacity for its annual prize-giving ceremony, recognising the outstanding achievements of its agricultural students during the academic year.
The marquee where the presentations and award-giving took place was full to the brim with students and their parents.
Aled Jones-Griffith, Assistant Principal (Planning and Development) of Grŵp Llandrillo Menai, said: “Today is a proud day for not only for our students, it is also a day where we can show the students that we are proud of their achievements too.
“It is a chance to reflect on an outstanding year at Glynllifon. The students recognised have all been selected because they have excelled in their chosen subject after putting in hard work.
“The students also tell me that they have had lots of fun during their time with us, making life- long friends who will form an invaluable network for them in their future careers as well as social lives.”
This year’s guest speaker was broadcaster and Radio Cymru presenter Dei Tomos.
