The club has a summer exhibition in the Deiniol Centre, in Bangor, from mid-August for six weeks. MENAI BRIDGE WAR MEMORIAL COMMUNITY CENTRE: The AGM will be held on Thursday July 20 at 7pm in the Centre in Water Street. There are plans to re-furbish the building in time to celebrate its 100th year. Recent and current classes include Slimming World, Pilates, Yoga, Zumba dance, Ki Aikido, Sewing, & Art. ANGLESEY MôNTAGE WRITING FESTIVAL: On September 9, a group of Anglesey writers will host a writing festival. Writing workshops will cover a variety of subjects. Beginners or establishe­d writers are all welcome. Workshops will be through the medium of English but there will also be workshops for Welsh learners with Bethan Gwanas. All the tutors are published authors with a wealth of experience. Day time ticket is £25, which entitles participan­ts to attend three individual workshops and includes a buffet lunch. To be held at Ysgol David Hughes from 9 for 9.30-5pm. In the evening there will be a light hearted concert at the Victoria Hotel, starting 7pm featuring musician/composer John Hywel and poet/ playwright John Gorman (of the Scaffold).
