UNSAFE GRAVESTONE­S ON CHURCH ISLAND: A recent survey of gravestone­s on Church Island found that 79 unsafe gravestone­s required attention. If you are concerned about a family gravestone on the Island, contact the Secretary of the Friends of Church Island John R Hughes (0124871236­7) or email hughesmech@aol.com or you can attend a meeting of the Friends of Church Island at the Committee room at St Mary’s Church on Wednesday October 18 at 7.30pm. FRIENDS OF MENAI BRIDGE LIBRARY: invite you to the Sunday afternoon events to be held in the library: Sunday Oct 8, 2-4pm: find out about the history of Hafoty, a medieval house in Llansadwrn, with the help of guide Roy Nally, followed by a paned. Sunday Oct 22: Do you look after someone with dementia, or know someome who does? Come along to the library between 2-4 pm to find out what help is available and meet other carers over a paned.
