The meeting will include a talk by Bridget Geoghan about First World War graves on the Island. UNSAFE GRAVESTONE­S ON CHURCH ISLAND: A recent survey of gravestone­s on Church Island identified that 79 gravestone­s were unsafe and required attention. If you are concerned about a family gravestone please contact the Secretary of Friends of Church Island John R. BANGOR BIRD GROUP: The next meeting is on Weds, Oct 18, when Paul Rogers, a bird tour leader will talk on ”Fabulous feathers”. CAMERA CLUB: Beaumaris and Menai Bridge Camera Club’s 2017/18 season continues at 7:30pm on Friday,Oct 20, with a talk about the foundation degree in photograph­y run by Llandrillo/Menai College. The Club meets on Friday evenings from September to April in the hall of St. Anne’s Catholic Church, Dale Street, Menai Bridge.
