ST MARY’S CHURCH: Sun Nov 12, Remembranc­e Day Service at 9.45am. Followed by a gathering by the Cenotaph at 11am. St Mary’s Congregati­onal Meeting will be held at St Mary’s Committee Room at 7.30pm Wed Nov 15. The Christmas Fair will be held at the Community Centre Water Street Menai Bridge on Sat Nov 18 between 10 and 12. Christmas stalls, cakes, gifts, games, raffle, tombola etc. Admission £1 children free. Bring any donations to the Centre on the day between 9 and 10am. A guided walk conducted by Nigel Brown will take place on Church Island at 2.30pm on Sun Nov26. Healing and Wholeness Service will be held at St Tysilio’s Church on Wed Nov 29 at noon. The top gate will be open for vehicles at 11.30am.

VOLUNTEERS: Could you spare a few hours to help with poppy selling and collection­s? Volunteers are needed to help out at either Waitrose Menai Bridge or Co-op, Llanfairpw­ll on Saturday, October 28, to Friday November 10. Collectors are only asked to do 2 ½ hour shifts, and seats are provided and you would be given support. CAMERA: Beaumaris and Menai Bridge Camera Club will meet at 7:30pm on Friday, November 10, with a talk on the RSPB Conwy Nature Reserve given by Julian Hughes.
