FRIENDS OF CHURCH ISLAND: A meeting of the Friends took place on Wed Oct 18 and after the business side of the meeting there was a talk by Bridget Geoghan about the First World war Graves on the Island. The next meeting will be on February 21, 2018. A recent survey on headstones on the Island identified 79 unsafe headstones.
