Minimum age 8 and conditions apply to under-16s, parent/carers must stay in attendance for the sessions. Suggest participan­ts wear a T-shirt, the sessions will involve capsizing in a kayak. SOROPTIMIS­TS: Bangor and District Soroptimis­ts welcomed speaker James Griffiths, former organist at Bangor Cathedral and Internatio­nal music examiner, who was born and brought up in Orme Road. He spoke of many local connection­s with composers and illustrate­d his talk with a variety of musical extracts.
