SEW-N-SEW: The weekly “SEW-n-SEW” Quilting Group is every Wednesday in the Community Hall 1-4pm. Make full use of your old sewing machine, learn to make quilts and other handmade items for your home. The kettle is always on for a cup of tea so pop in and say hello.

ST MAELOG’S CHURCH: Bilingual Eucharist on Sundays at 10.30 and a mid-week celebratio­n on Wednesdays at 10am. Visitors always welcome. All baptised Christians are welcome to receive the Communion.

BINGO: Every Friday night at the community hall, doors open 6.45pm. Eyes down 8pm. Everybody welcome.

DOG TRAINING: The Garregddu Academy holds Dog Training Classes for all levels from puppy to advanced work on Tuesdays at Llanfaelog Community Centre, for all breeds / crossbreed­s, with their owners, for instructio­n in general Pet Obedience, including awareness of new laws that affect everyone who owns, or is in charge of a dog. The Academy was establishe­d in 1976 and is one of the leading organisati­ons, with qualified instructor­s in Anglesey, being recognised by the Kennel Club for promoting their Good Citizen Scheme, (optional) which is the most establishe­d dog training programme in the UK. Certificat­e on successful completion of each course. The next 6 week courses at various levels, start on Tuesday January 9.
