It’s a race for second after loss to leaders

-

LOVE is in the air! The BCFCSA would like to wish everyone a Happy Valentine’s Day.

I imagine that once again I will have been unable to open my front door on a Valentine’s morning.

I don’t know how I manage to lose my front door keys at roughly the same time each year but there you go.

Last Friday evening’s 3-0 defeat at the leaders was a bit of a letdown. We may have harboured faint hopes of overtaking the champions by the end of the season but it looks like we’ll have to be content with the race for second place and a shot at glory in the Welsh Cup.

The first team’s next match is on Friday at home to Connah’s Quay (kick-off 7.45pm).

Let’s hope we’ll see another home victory.

It goes without saying that we need to keep beating the clubs around us in the league.

I would just like to reiterate that it would be great to have a few more people commentating on Radio Bangor between now and the end of the season.

If you are interested please let us know if there’s a particular game you fancy doing.

We’d also like to ask people to consider volunteering to help in the club shop. The staff that normally volunteer are sometimes unable to attend matches so you will be helping out greatly.

You can take my word that it’s an extremely interesting way to ease any pre-match tension.

Don’t forget that the mid-season draw will take place on Friday. If you have tickets you can bring them to Friday’s match, all you need to do is hand them to one of the people on the BCFCSA table by the turnstile.

If there’s an issue you’d like to share send an e-mail to bcfcsa@hotmail.com or use social media.
