Roz welcomed a good crowd including new member, Angie. Jos read the minutes in the absence of Linda and a minute’s silence was observed in memory of Linda’s mother, Irene. Linda will e-mail all members with details of the Chester boat trip on June 13, but payment (£25.50 for members, £29’50 for guests) should be brought to the May meeting. Roz suggested that the group adopt the Dolphin School of English in Cambodia. Frankie Hombro, director of Anglesey Sea Zoo, then gave a talk on endangered species conservati­on and the role of the Zoo in this. At the May 9 meeting Andy Lord will talk on falconry.
