NG Road Racing at Trac Môn

-

ANGLESEY Circuit’s motorcycling season gets an earlier than usual visit from NG Road Racing this weekend.

This will be the club’s first race weekend of the year, due to weather problems caused by the “Beast from the East” forcing the cancellation of previous events.

The Anglesey Coastal Circuit is one most riders love, but the weather can play a huge part in the weekend and, therefore, the bike set up.

The nimble and fast 250 two stroke GP derived bikes that compete in the Dymag backed national championship are almost perfectly suited to the circuit layout, so expect great action with three proven champions in Ant Hodson, Philip Atkinson and Dan Jackson vying for the 2018 title.

Sharing the grid will be the runners in the 125 GP National series and also the ever-growing number of Two Stroke GPs.

The big Superbikes are fast here. Can Josh Day continue on with his rich vein of form from 2017 on his ZX10 Kawasaki and R6 Yamaha? And who will take the challenge to him in 2018?

The full gamut of race bikes will be out - Powerbikes, 600’s, Streetstock, Pre Injections, Formula Prostock, Desmo Due Ducati’s, Mini Twins, Super Twins, Sound of Thunder and SuperMono.

Adding extra interest to the weekend, NG Road Racing is again running and promoting the British National series for 125cc and 250cc GP machinery.
