City ladies make it six wins in row to stay fourth

BANGOR City made it six straight victories in the North Wales Women’s Football League with a 2-0 home triumph over Bethel.

Lexi Crawley and Cerys Gadd delivered the goals for Ethan Ray’s side, who remain fourth in the table.

Amlwch Town travelled to Kinmel Bay with only 10 players and gave their all, despite crashing to a 9-0 defeat.

Charlotte Miliziano (2), Sarah Massey, Lucy Perry, Niomi Taylor (2), Charlotte Pardoe (2) and Francesca Acharya shared the goals for the home team.

Rhyl Developmen­t picked up their second win of the season with a 2-0 result against bottom side Bala Town, Catrin Davies with a goal in each half.

Airbus closed the gap on leaders Northop Hall to two points, but, having played three games more, after thrashing Prestatyn 5-1.

Laura Borley pocketed a hat-trick for the second time in a week, Mari Edwards netted twice and Ellie Sandiford replied for the visitors.

Pwllheli were impressive 3-1 winners against Denbigh Town in a game where both sides only had 10 players.

Delyth Jones, Lois Thomas and Sioned Jones struck for Pwllheli, Carla Rizzi for the visitors.
