Vicar appointment
THE Bishop of Bangor – the Right Reverend Andy John – has announced the appointment of Rev Neil Ridings as Associate Vicar in the Bro Cybi Ministry Area. Bro Cybi serves the communities of Holyhead and Holy Island.
Neil is Ministry Area Leader and Vicar of Bro Cwyfan, which serves the communities around Valley, Bryngwran, Bodedern, Llanfachraeth, Llantrisant, Rhosneigr and Llanfaelog.
Neil, who was previously a curate in Bro Cybi, said:“It is a privilege to have been Vicar of Bro Cwyfan working alongside the ministry team, the different congregations and communities. Saying goodbye is never easy but I take with me many happy memories for which I am truly grateful. I look forward to working with the people of Bro Cybi as we seek to share in God’s life and play our part in His work in the world.”
Neil will begin his ministry in Bro Cybi later in the summer, with a special service to celebrate the beginning of his new ministry.
