RNLI FUN DOG SHOW: The RNLI will hold a ‘Fun Dog Show’ on Sunday July 22 at the football ground at Cemaes Bay (down the lane past the primary school) starting at 2pm. Entry £2.50 for adults, children under 16 entry free. There will be 12 classes for the dogs to enter at £1 per dog per class. Food and drinks can be purchased from the football canteen. Other stalls at the ground to include plants, tombola, lucky dip, souvenirs, raffles, a stall in aid of the carnival, and Mr John Wright will be taking pictures of your dogs/pets for a small donation. All dogs must be kept on a lead at all times. All proceeds in aid of the RNLI.

RIDING FOR THE DISABLED: Volunteers are needed at Anglesey Riding for the Disabled at the Wednesday morning riding sessions between 9.30 and 1.30pm at Anglesey Riding Centre in Dwyran. Volunteers are also wanted at the new carriage driving sessions on Tuesdays between 10am and 2pm at City Dulas. Travel costs will be paid. This is a real opportunit­y to make a difference to people’s lives and you will be made welcome when you join the existing friendly teams. SPECIAL MEETING: On Friday July 20 at 7.30pm in the Village Hall there will be a special meeting to vote on a proposed resolution to allow the Village Hall Trustees to sell the current village hall building. Proceeds from the proposed sale would fund the new Village Hall premises, which will be located in the old Llanddona school building.
