Peter captures prize

FOLLOWING stiff competition from budding photographers across North Wales, the UK’s leading retirement housebuilder, McCarthy & Stone, has announced the winner of its North Wales photography competition.

Dr Peter Thomas, 73, from Capel Coch, took top honours for his photograph of a collection of boats in the sand at Red Wharf Bay (Traeth Coch). Peter’s work will have pride of place at both Plas Glanrafon and Lido Grange, for homeowners and guests to enjoy.

He was presented with a cheque for £300 for his efforts.
