EGLWYS BACH COMMUNITY HALL EVENTS: NEWBOROUGH CINEMA CLUB: The Cinema Club runs on 2nd and 4th Wednesdays each month, doors open 6.30pm, film showing at 7pm. Free membership of the club is open to all in Newborough and district with a donation of £3 for each showing including light refreshmen­t. After proceeding­s were opened by Roz, Linda read the minutes of September’s meeting, then Roz conducted the business meeting bringing members up to date on local matters. Dr David Owens then took to the floor and delivered a presentati­on on “Extreme Weather” which, despite the lower than usual member turnout, generated a lively discussion over refreshmen­ts. The next Club meeting will be on November 14 during which Norman will preside over a Seasonal Quiz.
