Choir that ROCKS!

-

IF you think singing in the shower makes you feel great, and your school choir days are just a sweet memory, then here’s your chance to join the UK’s favourite, contemporary, community choir at a venue close to you!

Rock Choir (pictured) is the hugely successful contemporary singing phenomenon that has been rolled out across the UK, with more than 28,000 members in over 400 local communities nationwide, including Colwyn Bay, Mold, Wrexham and Llangollen.

Each member is welcomed into the Rock Choir family and their journey allows music, friendship and a new-found confidence to impact their everyday lives.

The choir offers adults and teenagers the chance to sing and perform popular, contemporary songs, with no auditions and no requirements to read music or have any previous singing experience.

Rock Choir is for anyone who just loves to sing!

Becky Broadbere, who is the local Rock Choir leader in North Wales, said “We have been running Rock Choir in North Wales since January 2018, and we’re really excited to get out and get involved with the local communities this term!

“As well as running our upbeat, fun and friendly weekly rehearsals, we’re working towards our first public performances this term.

“It is amazing to see the friendships that have already built within the choir, and it’s so special to bring those members together to lead them at local and sometimes national events!”

Rock Choir is much more than a choir - it’s a multi layered singing experience.

The power of music, meeting new friends and performing at life-changing events, contribute to an emotional and powerful journey for its members.

New members may choose to simply rehearse with friends at weekly rehearsals or take to the stage for a variety of Rock Choir events and shows.
